Andrew Welch
Andrew has performed A Christmas Carol many, many times over the years to high acclaim, in both Canada and the U.S. Most of these shows have been entirely donated fundraisers. In 2015, he devoted two performances to Syrian refugee families coming to Canada, and raised over $12,000. In 2022, the charitable beneficiary was the new Dufferin Men's Shelter. Locally, he directed the Theatre Orangeville Young Company for two seasons, and he is the acclaimed Official Town Crier for Erin, Caledon, and Orangeville. Andrew is also a guest lecturer in Ecological Economics at the University of Waterloo, and a published author. He lives in Alton, Ontario. |
